Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood was born on September 7, 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her father, Ira David Wood III (a theatre actor writer, director, actor) is her father. Sara Wood Wood is her mother, as well as an actress. Her brothers older than her are Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who also have been actors. Evan as well as her brothers often performed in the Theatre In The Park in Raleigh the theater that her father established and where he serves as executive director. After a long audition process at the age of five, she was old when she was able to screen-test with Kirsten Dunst. Together with her mother and brother Ira moving to Los Angeles in 1996. Since then, she has enjoyed the success of television shows, movies on TV, as well as feature films. She was in Practical Magic (1998) and also starred in the comedy S1m0ne (2002) as Al Pacino's daughter. She followed that with Thirteen (2003) featuring Holly Hunter. Little sister of Ira David Wood IV and Dana Wood. A dancer who has been trained. She enjoys singing, swimming, rollerblade, and go on horseback. She is the black belt for tae Kwon-Do. Is still in touch with the majority of her Once and Again (1999) castmates: Mischa Barton, Julia Whelan and Shane West.
