Aisha Hinds is an American actress best famous for her role in the tv shows The Shield and True Blood. She has demonstrated her versatility in 2003 with her outstanding appearances on TV shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit as well as 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. The role she played as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to catch her notice. The performance she made in the biographical movie All the Way as the woman's rights activists Fannie Lou Hammer brought her into the spotlight by the media. Hind received praise by critics for her portrayal as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for a third season. Hind was recently shot the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The movie is scheduled to release in mid-2019. Her father Krishnaraj was who is an Army Scientist, who passed away on the 18th of March 2017 and her mother Vrinda are both housewives. Her older brother is Aditya Rai who works as an engineer for the Merchant Navy. Akhila Rai, Bachchan's elder brother, wrote and co-produced Dil Ka Rishta along with their mother. The family moved to Mumbai and she enrolled at Arya Vidya Mandir. She finished her secondary education with Jai Hind College for a year prior to enrolling in D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she got a 95% mark of the H.S.C. exams. The student spent the majority during her teenage years studying music and classical dance. Zoology was one of her subjects. Bachchan studied architecture when she was awarded the title of Miss World 1994. The title catapulted her into the world of modeling's fast track. She was enlisted by PepsiCo Inc., Vogue magazine and L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. In 1997 she appeared in two highly acclaimed films: Iruvar and Aur pyaar ho gaya. Bachchan was the symbol of New Bollywood with these films that defied Bollywood's basic structure. With her heartbreaking portrayal as the jilted lover Paro In Devdas (2002) which was considered to be one of the most popular Bollywood films as well as one of the first films to screen in the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented herself as the new Queen of Bollywood. After that, she was rewarded with much acclaim for the role she played in Chokher Bali (2003) the tense thriller based on Rabindranath Tagore's classic novel. That same year, she was chosen as the first Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan performed in Bride and Prejudice by Gurinder Chadha. It is a musical as well as dance version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. That was when Bachchan was able to bring her fame and a beautiful face to her first major film in English. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood through the smash film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story in English. She married Abhishek Bachchan who was a co-star of the film who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most powerful personalities in one place.
